Err… So we’re all moving to Everton Park apparently? A sleepy suburb no longer, EP is fast becoming a foodie epicentre for northsiders—and no, we’re not kidding!

With the first tenants at Everton Plaza’s Park Lane having already set up shop, slinging killer coffee, stacked burgers and fresh produce to the masses, more are opening almost weekly, ensuring you’ve got a reason to keep heading back to the slick new precinct.

The latest joint to land? Acai Brothers Superfood Bar, who are now dishing up protein packed acai bowls, juices, raw treats and smoothies to all the north side fitspos out there. Or just anyone who might have feasted on one too many of 5 Boroughs epic burgers since they opened in the laneway in July.

But wait, because that’s not all: Sweeties – Cakes, Pies, Patisserie also just opened the doors on their fresh new baked goods spot. These guys have been baking up some of the best birthday cakes and pies in Brisbane for over a decade, but now they’re doing it from a fresh new location. Even better, they’ll be giving out 300 free cupcakes on Saturday 14 September to celebrate—stay glued to the Everton Plaza Facebook page for details.

Neighbourhood Market Co gourmet grocery aisles are also already open for business, along with Stellarossa Espresso and La Diva beauty salon (these guys are pros when it comes to nails—check out their tips for what’s trending in the world of nail art here). And still to come? Comuna Cantina is just weeks away, while Corbett & Claude is landing in November, complete with a Queenslander-style rooftop bar featuring prime views of the surrounding suburbs and hillside. Park Lane is going to change the northside landscape, big time.

This is pretty big for the northside food scene. Not that it was impossible to get a good feed north of the river, but finding a hub that has everything in one place was tricky. EP are trying to change all that and inject some much needed oomph into Everton Park. We salute them.

If you want to keep up with all the new opening news, check out Everton Plaza’s Park Lane page. We’ll update with more information as the new restaurants drop.
